Tribe & Psychogarden 2008

O evento que tem como lema a amizade, a união e a Paz, acaba de anunciar o local onde será realizada sua 5ª edição.

A Tribe & Psychogarden, fruto da amizade entre jovens no começo de 2000, tem dado o que falar entre os fãs da trance music e do psy, arrancando ótimos elogios de quem já conferiu o evento.

Uma das novidades é que agora o evento irá contar com o novo palco Club, montando um line-up incrível. E o palco principal irá trazer um dos maiores nomes da atualidade da cena Psy, o gringo Astrix, que dividirá o espaço com nomes de peso nas raves pelo mundo, como Layo & Bushwacka, D-Nox, Delirious e Propulse.

Este ano a Tribe & Psychogarden será realizada dia 19 de julho, na Fazenda Guarizão, quilômetro 11 da Rodovia Castelinho, em São Paulo.

Madonna em dezembro no Brasil

De acordo com a notícia divulgada pela produtora Plan Music, a Madonna poderá se apresentar no Brasil, em dezembro deste ano.

O que foi informado é que a rainha do pop poderá estar no país mais precisamente dia 9 de dezembro, dependendo apenas de uma confirmação, para uma mega apresentação no estádio do Maracanã, no Rio de Janeiro, mesmo local onde ela se apresentou na última visita ao Brasil, em 1994.

Vamos torcer para que a notícia se concretize e Madonna finalmente volte a dar as graças por aqui.

O show, se realizado, fará parte da turnê mundial de Madonna, para a divulgação de seu novo álbum Hard Candy.

Com 546 opções de diversos remixes, o usuário que tiver cadastro no portal, poderá votar em seu remix favorito.

A votação termina no dia 23 deste mês e o vencedor irá levar para casa o pacote do software de produção musical Ableton Suite, além de US$ 100 de créditos para gastar no Beatport, e também o Pacemaker, um novo aparelho de mixagem portátil que está virando febre entre os DJs.

DMC DJ Championship Brasil

O concurso DMC DJ Championship Brasil 2008, que elege os melhores nomes que comandam as pick-ups, já está com as inscrições abertas para a etapa brasileira que irá selecionar o melhor do país e levar à Londres, para a final que acontece nos dias 27 e 28 de setembro.

O torneio foi responsável pelo lançamento dos mestres Q-Bert, C2C, Scretch Perverts e tantos outros que mostraram suas habilidades imbatíveis na hora do scratch.

Sendo direcionada aos DJs com inclinação à mixagem com vinyl, que domine a arte do scratch, como em sua maioria, os DJs de Hip-hop.

A seleção será feita durante o mês de julho e a final desta etapa se dará dia 27 do mesmo mês. Apenas 25 candidatos serão selecionados para concorrer a 11 vagas, das quais apenas 3 estarão na final brasileira.

O vencedor da final mundial levará o prêmio de 10 mil dólares, duas pick-ups e um mixer da Technics, além de ter seu nome divulgado em diversos veículos da mídia em todo o mundo.

As inscrições estarão abertas até dia 16 de junho. As exigências para a inscrição é que o DJ candidato tenha nacionalidade brasileira e passaporte.

Moby dará prêmio de US$ 10 mil

Moby, o produtor que está fazendo de quase tudo para promover seu novo álbum Last Night, acaba de lançar um concurso, e o vencedor, escolhido pelo próprio Moby, ganhará nada mais, nada menos, que 10 mil dólares como prêmio.

O concurso é o seguinte. Cada participante, com aspiração na área audiovisual, deverá produzir um vídeo-clipe para o single "Oh Yeah", que faz parte álbum de Moby.

Não há data de divulgação do vencedor ainda, mas as inscrições deverão ser feitas até dia 14 de julho.

Para concorrer, precisa ter cadastro feito no site de Moby, na seção mobygratis, preencher os dados exigentes na página da promoção e escrever a idéia do que você pretende produzir.

O Moby disponibilizou a música original, no formato WAV, a versão final em MP3, para ser usada no clipe, e um arquivo de áudio com o próprio produtor contando o que espera dos vídeo-clipes e qual é a idéia que quer passar com sua música "Oh Yeah".

Os vídeos prontos deverão ser publicados na Internet, de acordo com as regras, divulgadas na inscrição.

Música eletrônica pode ser regida

O músico, maestro e professor da Universidade de Brasília, Jorge Antunes, provou que é possível fazer a combinação entre a música eletrônica e a eletroacústica.

Em declaração ao jornal Correio de Brasília, o maestro diz que hoje em dia a música eletroacústica não é mais novidade e já foi explorada em todos os seguimentos musicais nas últimas décadas.

No trabalho, Jorge Antunes aproveita a tecnologia e não hesita em usar equipamentos de som como CD players, sintetizadores e até projetores de imagens, para incrementar suas apresentações.

O maestro, que já tem em seu histórico vários prêmios nacionais e internacionais, frutos de seu trabalho, diz: "Processados no computador, os sons levam a um universo sonoro que muita gente considera sideral."
