Nova vocalista do Lasgo

Para quem não sabe, o projeto Dance de maior sucesso está de volta. Infelizmente os fãs da cantora Evi Goffin terão que se conformar com a saída da cantora. Mas não deixando a desejar, a belíssima Jelle Van Dael mostra que pode dar conta do recado assumindo a frente do projeto.

Com apenas 18 anos, pode acreditar, Jelle foi escolhida a dedo no concurso realizado na Bélgica para encontrar a nova vocalista do Lasgo.

E o primeiro single desta nova fase foi lançado. É o "Out Of My Mind", que já conta com um vídeo clipe mostrando a "nova loira" do Lasgo.

Primeiro álbum de Deadmau5 sai em outubro

Ao que tudo indica, está marcado para o dia 6 de outubro, o lançamento do primeiro álbum do DJ e produtor canadense Deadmau5 (que se pronuncia Deadmaus).

O álbum recebeu o curioso título de “Random Álbum Title”(algo como álbum de título aleatório) e terá 12 faixas, incluindo uma versão piano-acústica do sucesso “Faxing Berlin”.

Agora é só aguardar.

Mítico club londrino, The End encerra atividades em 2009

Um dos maiores símbolos da noite eletrônica de Londres(e porque não, do mundo), o Club The End, anunciou que irá encerrar suas atividades em janeiro de 2009, depois de 13 anos de atividade.(que ele comemora no mês de dezembro).

O motivo do fim foi a venda do clube. Já existiam boatos de que diversas ofertas haviam sido feitas, mas os rumores deram lugar ao fato, devido a um valor que os proprietários deram como irrecusável.

A propósito, um dos donos do club The End é o DJ e produtor Layo Paskin, da dupla Layo & Bushwacka

Além de festa itinerante, clube , selo de música eletrônica, vodka, entre outras atividades, agora a Ministry of Sound vai atacar de telefone celular.

A grande franquia da música eletrônica vai se associar com a Nokia, Samsung e Sony Ericsson para lançar uma linha personalizada, que virá com conteúdo especial do MOS e Hed Kendi, além de brindes especiais.

Já não é a primeira vez que a Ministry produz um celular próprio. Anteriormente ela fez uma parceria com a 3 network.

Rihanna se apresenta na Pacha de Florianópolis em 2009

O clube Pacha em Florianópolis - que inaugura em novembro desse ano - já promete para 2009 um show de Rihanna. A nova filial vai ficar na praia do Jururê e inclui também Jack Johnson em sua programação de verão.

A apresentação da cantora está marcada para o dia 7 de fevereiro onde Rihanna traz a turnê com base no seu terceiro álbum "Good Girl Gone Bad", lançado ano passado. A estrela de 20 anos alcançou as paradas do mundo todo com diversos hits como "Umbrella", "Don´t Stop The Music" e "Take A Bow". Essa será a primeira visita de Rihanna ao Brasil.

Para quem quer ir se preparando para o show da cantora, o canal TNT traz em outubro a apresentação que deu origem ao DVD dessa turnê de Rihanna. O show foi gravado em Manchester, e traz diversos sucessos da cantora, além de novas interpretações, como "Is this Love", de Bob Marley, que ganha uma nova versão na voz da moça.

A apresentação do havaiano Jack Jonhson deve acontecer no dia 10 na mesma Pacha de Florianópolis. Essa vai ser a segunda passagem do cantor no país, que veio em 2006 e se apresentou na Praça da Apoteose no Rio de Janeiro e no Anhembi em São Paulo.

Os valores dos ingressos e o começo das vendas ainda não foram divulgados pelo clube.

Os produtores do Cooking Soul pegaram diversos hits de Jay-Z, alguns dos famosos refrões do Oasis, acrescentaram uma batida eletrônica e assim criaram uma música totalmente nova: OJAYSIS!

O processo que todos já conhecem como Mash-Up foi realizado desta vez pelos DJs espanhóis Big Size, Milton e Zock que formam o Cooking Soul. O projeto tem na sua história mixagens para Nu Jersy Devils, Joell Ortiz e DJ Doo Wop.
