Manifesto Artístico Digital

O evento Skol Beats, que será realizado em setembro deste ano, está com uma nova promoção. É o Manifesto Artístico Digital, que foi iniciado dia 26/06, onde os participantes poderão ajudar desde a decoração do evento até designs de camisetas que serão vendidas durante o Skol Beats 2008.

Para participar basta se inscrever no site oficial do Skol Beats e mandar seu projeto até o dia 7 de setembro para a organização do evento que irá avaliar e escolher os melhores com base na criatividade e no bom gosto.

Em cada projeto poderão conter fotos, vídeos para VJs, logomarcas e designs de camisetas desenvolvidos por cada participante. Para quem é fã da arte digital, esta é a chance de divulgar seus trabalhos visuais

Lasgo está de volta!

Após dois anos sem trazer nenhuma notícia para os fãs famintos por novidades, um dos maiores projetos de Dance Music do mundo, Lasgo, volta com tudo.

Boas novas, o projeto idealizado pelo produtor Peter Luts voltou, mas para os fãs da loirinha Evy, talves não seja tão interessante assim.

Por quê? O projeto está de pé novamente, mas sem Evy Goffin no grupo. E justamente para não deixar a peteca cair, será realizado um reality show em nome dos bons tempos de Lasgo para escolher uma nova vocalista. Isto mesmo!

O programa irá se chamar Let's Go Lasgo e será exibido no canal de TV musical JIMtv, da Bélgica, ainda este semestre. O concurso não contará com Dave McCullen, pois o produtor saiu do projeto antes mesmo de Evy, que deu trégua ao Lasgo para cuidar de seus 2 filhos, e como serão feitas as inscrições, isto ainda não foi divulgado.

Dupla não remixa Madonna

O Freemasons, duo britânico de DJs, pelo jeito não fiz muita questão de remixar a música da rainha do pop Madonna.

A cantora havia pedido para que a dupla remixasse uma de suas novas canções mas, Russel Small e Jammes Wiltshire se recusaram a fazer o trabalho por estarem com a "agenda lotada".

Russel disse em declaração que a agenda da dupla está ocupada, não conseguindo arranjar tempo para se dedicar a novos trabalhos.

A dupla é conhecida por fazer remixes para grandes nomes do meio pop, como Beyoncé e Fatboy Slim, já tendo trabalhado com a australiana Kylie Minogue e também Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Um dos melhores eventos de música eletrônica agora vem com edição que traz grandes lives. É a Orbital Live que terá apresentações de projetos que irão tocar suas músicas na base de guitarras, violinos, baterias e sintetizadores totalmente ao vivo.

De atrações já confirmadas, estão nomes como Paranormal Attack, Delirius, Pixel, Talamasca e Propulse, entre outros. E além dos profissionais na arte de mixar, a Orbital Live dará espaço a projeções visuais para VJs.

Fragma no Brasil

Quem não se recorda dos big hits "Toca's Miracle" e "Everytime You Need Me" de Fragma, dos anos 90?

Estes singles ficaram durante um bom tempo sendo executados em diversos clubs e rádios pelo mundo inteiro, se tornando grandes hinos das pistas.

E os criadores do projeto alemão Fragma, os irmãos Marco e Dirk Duderstadt (foto), e o produtor Ramon Zenker, confirmaram presença para uma apresentação aqui no Brasil, e estarão na quarta-feira (25/06) na Ébano Bar, em São Paulo, para agitar a cidade com a nova versão de enorme sucesso, de "Toca's Miracle".

E dia 13 de setembro a presença do projeto está confirmadíssima para o próximo Spirit Of London, na capital paulista.

DJ brasileiro é finalista

O site Beatport, que está promovendo concurso de remixes em parceria com o DJ Paul van Dyk, já recebeu mais de 500 participantes, e entre estes, 10 estão na final, sendo um deles brasileiríssimo.

O DJ e produtor Ednner Soares, da cidade Novo Hamburgo, está com seu remix da faixa "Far Away", de Paul van Dyk, entre os mais votados pelos internautas. Ele é um dos integrantes do projeto 3 Live, do qual também fazem parte John Most e Juan Pablo.

Os 3 finalistas e vencedores terão como prêmio a inclusão de seus remixes no EP do single "Far Away", e o 1º colocado irá levar para casa um patch completo do software de produção Ableton 7, além do mixer portátil Pacemaker.

As votações acabam dia 23 de junho, até lá poderemos dar uma forcinha para os melhores remixes com nosso voto.
