Eskimo vem ao Brasil e toca no Planeta Atlântida 2010 em SC

O filho do John Phantasm retorna ao Brasil em janeiro de 2010, após uma bela pausa sem pisar em solo tupiniquim. Eskimo é a mais nova atração confirmada para se apresentar no palco central e giratório do Planeta Atlântida 2010 em Santa Catarina. Ele tocará ao lado de grandes cantores e bandas pop do Brasil, como Strike, Fresno, Chimarruts, Victor & Leo, Santograau, Ivete Sangalo, Claudia Leitte, Charlie Brown Jr., Pixote, Exaltasamba, Pitty, Marcelo D2, Dublê, FatDuo, Armandinho e Aerocirco.

O DJ Inglês esteve no Brasil pela última vez no primeiro semestre de 2009, quando se apresentou na Orbital de Itu edição de aniversário 7 anos, que foi a festa que o consagrou no país. Acostumado a ser atração principal nas maiores raves barsileiras, por longos anos, Eskimo é dono de uma apresentação energética e seu som trás polêmica certa ao universo psytrance.


O festival acontece em Florianópolis, nos dias 15 e 16 de janeiro de 2010, no Parque Planeta, SC.

Lei que regulamenta a profissão dos DJs foi aprovada pelo Senado

No último dia 02 de dezembro de 2009, o Sindecs – Sindicato dos DJ’s e Profissionais de Cabine de Som de São Paulo - conseguiu mais uma vitória para que a profissão do DJ seja regulamentada. Na ocasião apenas os representantes do Sindecs estiveram presentes junto à Comissão do Senado.

Durante sessão no Senado Federal a lei, proposta pelo Sindecs, foi aprovada pelos parlamentares e contou com o apoio de senadores como: Romeu Tuma, Rosalba Ciarlini, Welinton Salgado e Eduardo Suplicy. O próximo passo é passar pela Câmara Federal e em seguida pela sanção do Presidente da República, processo que deverá ser concluído no primeiro semestre de 2010.

O Sindecs vem lutando há anos pela regulamentação da profissão DJ, com o propósito de garantir o resguardo legal de todos os profissionais e club’s para que assim todos possam trabalhar com mais segurança.

DJ de Cuiabá tem material apreendido pela Polícia Federal

No último sábado Elton Cotrin, DJ e residente do Club Lotus de Cuiabá - MT, teve sua pasta de CD, laptop e hardware Serato confiscado pela Polícia Federal enquanto fazia sua rotineira discotecagem no club.

Depois disso, a polícia mandou suspender a noite, ascendendo as luzes, parando o som e por fim levando o DJ de camburão para a delegacia. A acusação:o DJ estava utilizando material pirata.

E o mais assustador é que se trata da primeira ocorrência desse tipo a que temos notícia no Brasil. Na ocasião o dono do clube, os seguranças e um funcionário do caixa também foram levados para a "delega". Tudo isso presenciado por diversas pessoas que estavam no local.

A apreensão teve a seguinte justificativa: "se você baixa uma música na internet sem o pagamento de direitos autorais para o autor você sabe que está infringindo a lei, além disso a música estava sendo tocada na boate para fins comerciais o que caracteriza o uso indevido de propriedade intelectual" disse o delegado Erick Blatt, ao site Olhar Direto.

A polícia disse que teriam ido ao club para averiguar as condições de segurança e aproveitaram para abordar o DJ. Na delegacia, o DJ alegou que todo seu material havia sido adquirido de maneira legal, em sites como Beatport. Mal acabou a explicação, ele foi liberado pelo delegado com a seguinte afirmação: "o problema não é com você e sim com a casa noturna". No dia seguinte o material e Coltrin foi liberado.

House Mag abre votação para TOP 50 Brasil 2009

Depois do sucesso da votação em 2008, com quase 90 mil internautas participando de todos os cantos do Brasil e inclusive de outros países, o TOP 50 BRASIL, promovido pela revista House Mag, abre sua votação para o ranking 2009, com a finalidade de eleger os melhores artistas que integram a cena eletrônica nacional. O êxito do ranking se deve ao fato de que é o próprio público que elege seus DJs favoritos, o que torna o Top 50 da House Mag um transparente reflexo do mercado da música eletrônica no Brasil. Independente de estilos, regiões e fama, os artistas que entram para a lista são os que mais agradaram o grande público no decorrer deste ano.

Para participar da votação, os internautas devem acessar o site http://www.housemag.com.br/, preencher um breve cadastro e apontar os cinco DJs/produtores e ou projetos de música eletrônica preferidos. A participação pode ser feita diariamente através do portal House Mag (é válido apenas um voto por pessoa a cada 24 horas). A votação segue aberta até o dia 15 de novembro.

Na edição especial de verão da revista House Mag (janeiro/fevereiro) o público irá conhecer os DJs mais bem colocados no ranking, ajudando a impulsionar o crescimento do mercado da música eletrônica no Brasil. No ano passado os três primeiros colocados foram, respectivamente, os DJs Fabrício Peçanha, Gui Boratto e Anderson Noise.

A credibilidade da votação é garantida pelo próprio público, afinal é ele, através do seu voto, que vai decidir o resultado do Top 50 Brasil 2009. Resultado este que será uma importante ferramenta na mão de promotores de eventos e empresários de casas noturnas de todo o Brasil, que poderão saber o real gosto de quem consome música eletrônica, independente de títulos e anos de carreira.
