SWU: Organização faz balanço positivo e já pensa em edição de 2011

Em seus três dias, o SWU reuniu aproximadamente 150 mil pessoas. Os números foram divulgados pela organização do evento, durante um balanço dos erros e acertos do festival. Até ontem, haviam sido registrados 160 atendimentos médicos, a maioria por embriaguez, queda de pressão e hipotermia. Houve também 76 ocorrências policiais registradas (40 no sábado e 36 no domingo), a maior parte por furto de celulares e documentos.

Na opinião de Eduardo Fischer, organizador do festival, o balanço final é positivo. "Não podemos esquecer que estamos no meio de uma fazenda. O Brasil só viu eventos desse porte em grandes capitais", afirmou. Segundo ele, a quantidade de problemas foi pequena para o tamanho do evento. "Mas é claro que algumas coisas precisam ser corrigidas. Reconheço que deveria haver mais chuveiros no camping, por exemplo".

Fischer afirmou ainda que pretende realizar uma nova edição do SWU no ano que vem. "Queremos sim, claro. Mas também dependemos do interesse do público", declarou. Sua vontade é que o festival aconteça novamente na Fazenda Maeda, em Itu. "Mas a fazenda não é minha. Temos que negociar com o seu Maeda", disse, aos risos. "Se as condições forem as mesmas desse ano, possivelmente faremos aqui".

Depois de causar polêmica ao apelar à alta corte britânica para que fossem revelados os nomes dos internautas que compartilharam músicas, a MoF teve seu site invadido por hackers e derrubado. No começo da semana, o site encontravasse fora do ar.

Entretando o problema já foi resolvido e o site voltou ao ar. Só não se sabe por quanto tempo.

A programação do SWU Music and Arts Festival ganhou sua última atração: o DJ holandês Tiësto será o responsável pelo encerramento do festival. Junto com ele, a produção divulgou também a escalação completa do evento, com horários para mais de 70 atrações divididos em quatro palcos em três dias de música. O festival acontece nos dias 9, 10 e 11 de outubro na fazenda Maeda, em Itu, a 100 km de São Paulo.

Mega tour do Black Eyed Peas vai passar por todo o Brasil

Seis vezes vencedores do Grammy, os artistas multiplatinados do The Black Eyed Peas acabam de anunciar shows para o México e para a América do Sul da turnê "The E.N.D. World Tour 2010 ".

Os shows no Brasil incluirão as seguintes cidades: Fortaleza, dentro do Ceará Music Festival no Marina Park dia 15 de Outubro; Recife no Jockey Club dia 17 de Outubro; Salvador no Parque de Exposições dia 19 de Outubro, Brasilia no estacionamento do estadio Mané Garrincha dia 22 de Outubro,

No Rio de Janeiro será na Praça da Apoteose dia 24 de Outubro, Belo Horizonte no Mega Space dia 26 de Outubro, Porto Alegre no estacionamento da FIERGs dia 29 de Outubro, Florianópolis no Arena Show dia 1 de Novembro e irá se encerrar com a maior festa que já existiu em São Paulo, no estádio do Morumbi, dia 4 de Novembro com o convidado mais que especial, David Guetta.

"The E.N.D. World Tour 2010" tem sido descrita como "o mais recente espetáculo pop sci-fi" pelo New York Times, enquanto a U.S. Magazine afirma que a turnê é uma "festança futurista cheia de sucessos, diversão de alta energia e alguns interlúdios “solo” espetaculares”.

Até o momento The Black Eyed Peas já realizaram 18 shows na Europa e 35 nos Estados Unidos, que se somarão a mais 16 shows que estão fazendo atualmente na América do Norte.

A atual turnê se baseia no multiplatinado album The E.N.D. e marca a primeira vez que will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo e Fergie se unem para realizar shows no México e na América do Sul desde a turnê mundial de 2006, “Monkey Business”.

Esta nova turnê do The Black Eyed Peas começou poucos dias após terem ganho 3 Prêmios Grammy: Melhor Álbum Vocal Pop com o álbum The E.N.D., melhor Short Form Music Video com seu primeiro single "Boom Boom Pow, e Melhor Performance Pop por um Duo ou Grupo com seu segundo single "I Gotta Feeling".

DJ "pendura" os toca-discos e faz música usando dois iPads

A DJ Rana Sobhany mostrou uma maneira inusitada de fazer música: ela usa apenas dois iPads e alguns aplicativos. Nenhum laptop, toca-discos ou sintetizador é necessário.

Além dos dois iPads, Rana utiliza um mixer (uma espécie de misturador das músicas provenientes de cada iPad).

Dentre os aplicativos usados pela DJ, estão o Groovemaker House, Looptastic HD, iDaft (baseado no duo francês Daft Punk), AC-7 Pro, Pianist Pro e Sonosaurus Rex.
